Some health insurance plans provide options, and some may qualify for additional support. 

Illinois Medicaid – Managed Care 

Call the phone number on the back of your membership card OR use the phone numbers above. Call at least three (3) days ahead.

Each plan may have requirements for scheduling rides.

Medicare Advantage Plans

Some (not all) Medicare Advantage plans offer transportation benefits. 
Check your benefits before scheduling.  

Riders with a disability 

Able to ride the bus or train: 
Ride Free & Reduced Fare Programs may be available. 
Call 312.913.3110.

Unable to ride the bus or train: 
ADA Paratransit may be available.

Already Certified? 
Call 312.663.4357 to schedule rides at least 24 hours prior to your visit. 
Rides may cost as much as $3.25 each way.

Applying for Certification 
Call 312.663.4357 to request an application for the RTA ADA Paratransit Certification Program and schedule an in-person interview.

Note: If you need a ride to your in-person interview, ask when scheduling your interview.
