Thixomat, Inc. is an Ann Arbor , MI based technology development company that owns and markets the rights to the unique Thixomolding® process for the injection molding of magnesium and zinc alloys. The purpose of this statement is to inform you of our Privacy Policy and Practices and to assure you that any information we do collect in response to a visitor's request is used solely for the purposes for which the information is provided. One of the ways we dispense information about our process is through this website and the inquiries we receive from our visitors. We appreciate your visit and your interest in our process and assure you we are committed to protecting your privacy.

We reserve the right to change the terms of our Privacy Policy from time to time; therefore, we suggest you review our policy whenever you visit. However, we only collect data about you in those cases where you are requesting to receive more information or attend a conference or other event in which case we must collect certain contact information to comply with your request.

Collection of Information

Thixomat's policy is to maintain as open a website as possible. Therefore we do not require registration information to visit our site. We do not record your domain name nor do we record your

e-mail address unless it is specifically required or requested to provide you with the information you seek. We do not download cookies to your computer.

There are rare cases where we may require more detailed information including your name, address, e-mail address and other pertinent data. However, these instances are limited to occasions where you may be requesting we send information to you, such as a technical design guide, or where you may be registering on line for a marketing or technical conference. In those rare instances, we may record your name in our master database for notification of future activities or to send you our newsletter or other information. However, you have the option of asking us not to do so or, in the alternative at a later time, to remove your name from our master list and we will do so allowing for a reasonable time to comply with your request. We may also provide the contact information to our licensees for follow up to see if they can be of service. However, if instructed by you not to release your name, we will honor that request. To facilitate the flow of information, we also link our site to the websites of our licensees and to industry associations.

The purpose of this site is to provide you with information on our Thixomolding® process as well as informing you of licensees you may contact directly if you so choose relative to producing parts. In those cases where our licensees have provided links, we have included those links for you to access their individual websites; however, you should be aware we have no control over our licensee sites other than verifying that information provided on our process is correct and accurately stated. Please be advised that this Privacy Policy is applicable to this site only. Websites maintained by our licensees are completely independent of this site and we make no statement and have no knowledge as to whether or not each licensee has its own privacy policy. We suggest you review the site before providing any requested data if you are concerned. Similarly we may also link our site to those of applicable industry associations should you require information of materials or other similar data. As stated above, we make no statement and have no knowledge as to whether or not those sites require you provide information. We also advise you that this policy is not applicable to any personally identifiable information you may provide to us via

e-mail requests, letters or other written requests mailed to our offices, visiting our exhibit at trade shows or through any other third party or outside contact.
